Greg Ogilvie
Greg Ogilvie is an assistant professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Lethbridge. He has worked as a language teacher and teacher educator in Canada, Ethiopia, and Ukraine. His research interests include task-based language teaching and the promotion of critical interculturality in the second language classroom. |
Kendra LaRocque
Kendra LaRocque graduated with a combined degree B.A./B.Ed. from the University of Lethbridge, majoring in French and minoring in Education Sciences. She has had practicum experience in Grade 4 Science and Grade 6 French Immersion. At the moment she is teaching Grade 1 in a French Immersion school in Lloydminster. She has a passion for French culture and travel. |
Camilla Pagliericci
Camilla Pagliericci graduated with a combined degree B.A./B.Ed. from the University of Lethbridge, majoring in French and minoring in Social Studies Education. She has been gaining experience through substitute teaching and has been able to gain more experience teaching in French at French Immersion and Francophone schools in Lethbridge. She has a passion for music and its use in the classroom, as well as language learning. |
Amalia Alvarado
Amalia is a student at the University of Lethbridge, completing a combined Bachelor of Arts and Education degree with a French and Spanish major. Born in Nicaragua, a Spanish speaking country in Central America, she moved to Calgary in 2008 to pursue a better education. Whilst pursuing her degree at the university, Amalia has worked as a T.A. for Spanish 1000 classes. Her passion is French and Spanish education through graphic design. She hopes to one day teach either Spanish or French in an immersion setting. |
