NAME EVERYTHING is a speaking game that tests students' knowledge about French vocabulary related to various topics or themes.
Instructions:
There are no materials needed for this activity.
Step 1. Choose a topic or theme.
Step 2. One student at a time has the opportunity to name a word that is associated with the theme or topic.
Step 3. If a student repeats a word or cannot think of one, then he/she is out for the round.
Step 4. This will continue until there is one student left.
Adaptations:
1. For beginners and lower level learners, be sure to choose a topic or theme that is very familiar to them.
2. For beginners and lower level learners, allow students to look at vocabulary sheets.
3. For beginners and lower level learners, write the words that have been said on the board.
4. For higher level learners, choose a more broad topic or theme that challenges them to reach deep into their vocabulary.
